Goal:
The goal of this class is to be able to draw animals with a sense of life and movement using models, photos, or your imagination. This is achieved by analyzing rather than just copying at every stage of learning and development of the drawing.
Overview:
I. The class will begin by understanding comparative anatomy between humans and
animals
II. Glenn will then analyze the structure of certain animals based on the food they eat, their place on the food chain (predator or prey)
A. Does the animal have to nip grass, chew heavy plant stalks or slice and chew meats?
B. Are the eyes placed to be aware of threats in its surroundings or for keeping prey in sight during the chase
III. Glenn will cover the basic approach to drawing animals
A. First by capturing the movement, gesture, attitude, and then construct
B. Then add details, light, and color
IV. Each week will be lessons in detail on different animals
A. Domestic Animals
1. such as cats and dogs
B. Farm Animals
1. such as horses, cows, goats, etc.
C. Wild Animals
1. such as big cats, zebras, hippos, camels, etc.

El objetivo de esta clase es poder dibujar animales con un sentido de la vida y el movimiento usando modelos, fotos o tu imaginación. Esto se logra analizando en lugar de simplemente copiar en cada etapa de aprendizaje y desarrollo del dibujo.
Visión de conjunto:
I. La clase comenzará por comprender la anatomía comparada entre humanos y
animales
II. Glenn luego analizará la estructura de ciertos animales en función de los alimentos que consumen, su lugar en la cadena alimentaria (depredador o presa)
A. ¿Tiene el animal que cortar el pasto, masticar tallos pesados de las plantas o cortar y masticar carnes?
B. ¿Están los ojos puestos para estar al tanto de las amenazas en su entorno o para mantener a su presa a la vista durante la persecución?
III. Glenn cubrirá el enfoque básico para dibujar animales
A. Primero capturando el movimiento, gesto, actitud y luego construyendo
B. Luego agrega detalles, luz y color
IV. Cada semana serán lecciones en detalle sobre diferentes animales
